The next EVN TOG meeting will take place on February 9 2016, at the headquarters of Observatorio Astronómico Nacional (OAN) in the Royal Observatory of Madrid, Spain.

From now on we will possibly group the TOG meeting and the GMVA (Global Millimeter VLBI Array) technical meeting in the same period to allow communication between both communities. The GMVA technical meeting will be on February 8, 2016, the day before.

A bus trip from Madrid to Yebes Observatory will be organized on monday 8th, the day before the TOG meeting and after the GMVA meeting. See the time table below. If you are interested please use the checkbox in the registration form.

Accomodation

Hotel Agumar**** in Madrid, is conveniently located, within walking distance to the OAN. The room rates are: 75 euros per night for a single room without breakfast. Cancelation is free up to one day before stay. Please contact the hotel directly if you are interested.

Transportation

Getting from Barajas to Madrid. If you are arriving at Spain by plane, you will land at Madrid-Barajas international airport.

To reach OAN, you may get a taxi. Alternatively, from Terminal 4 it is straightforward to come to the Observatory by the local train that stops at "Atocha Renfe"; from T4 and also T2 you can get into the underground/METRO (available on Terminals 2 and 4) and travel towards the “Atocha Renfe" stop. You can download a PDF map for your convenience. The suggested trip is to get Line 8 from the Airport to “Nuevos Ministerios”, change to Line 10 to “Tribunal”, and finally change to Line 1 to reach “Atocha Renfe”. The whole trip takes about 40 minutes and costs 4.5 Euros; see ticket prices from/to airport.

Radionet 3 has expired and no economic support for travel is available for this meeting.
