Programas clave de tiempo abierto

El 25 de octubre de 2007 terminó el plazo para enviar propuestas para los programas clave de tiempo abierto (OT KPs). En total se recibieron 62 propuestas que fueron evaluadas por el HOTAC durante el mes de diciembre de 2007.

Actualmente no existe una lista con información detallada de las propuestas presentadas para OP KPs. Para más información pueden consultarse los posters pesentados en el congreso Herschel Open Time Key Program Workshop celebrado en Noordwijk en febrero de 2007.

Las 21 propuestas aprobadas, según se ha hecho público a finales de enero de 2008, corresponden a proyectos de investigación del sistema solar (1), del medio interestelar y formación estelar (10), de galaxias y núcleos galácticos activos (8) y de cosmología (2):
