Registration fee

If you want to guarantee your registration, please pay the registration fee before the deadlines. Send a copy of the receipt of your payment to the LOC.

Note for Students

The LOC will provide waived registration fee for a maximum of three (3) students. Those who wish to apply for this waived fee need to indicate it by selecting the "waived fee" option in the registration page, and then must send in an application the LOC fulfilling all of these requirements: a) must register before February 16th, 2015. b) must aim to give an oral presentation, c) must provide a proof of their student status, d) must submit a letter of support by their supervisor. The LOC+SOC will then decide who are the students selected, and will inform all applicants by Feb 20. The students not selected may pay the registration fee by the deadline of March 1st in order to benefit of the reduced cost (150 Euros).

Accompanying guests

Accompanying guests to EVGA2015 participants are welcome to join some activities. The LOC needs to know in advance, for logistic reasons, the details of these guests (for example, for those attending the RAEGE inauguration in Santa Maria, we need to know the full name and ID/Passport number so a flight ticket can be booked; this will be subject to availability on the plane).

Please take into account that participation in these activities may have a cost, which are to be payed to the LOC by the deadlines. In particular:

  • EVGA Conference dinner (May 19): 30 Euros/person.
  • Inauguration ceremony (May 20): 150 Euros/person (includes flight ticket from Ponta Delgada to Santa Maria, lunch and sightseeing).
  • Sightseeing trip to Furnas with traditional lunch cooked at the fumaroles (May 21): 30 Euros/person.

If you wish to receive a receipt of your registration fee, please send to the LOC the following information: name, address, country, telephone, email and tax/fiscal number of the participant or institution who is paying the fee.

For cancellations before April 1st 2015, the full conference fee will be refunded. There are no refunds for cancellations after April 1st 2015.
